Inter transfer target Domenico Criscito has revealed he has no regrets about staying in Russia despite his recent comments stating he would like to return to Italy in the future.
The 28-year-old Zenit Saint Petersburg defender has spent the last four years with the Russian outfit following his move from Genoa for a fee in the region of €11 million.
“I have no regrets about staying at Zenit Saint Petersburg, the club wanted to keep me and made me feel really important,” the Italy international told FCInterNews.
“The club has thought me so much, so there is no regret on my part. I do not think a move to Inter is possible in January.
“Inter have many great players and also bought new players in my own role, so I think it’s very difficult. At the moment I think only about Zenit St Petersburg, not Inter. Now it is too early to speak about January, so we’re just talking about rumours.”
