Защитник ПСВ хочет сыграть против обладателей кубка ЛЧ в отборочном матче. Он оптимистичен при оценке шансов выиграть у знаменитого каталонского трио.
The PSV defender wants to face the holders in the Champions League knockouts and is optimistic about his side's chances of coping with the Catalan's infamous trio
Joshua Brenet wants to face Barcelona in the Champions League knockout round and says PSV are not afraid of the Catalans' formidable 'MSN' front three.
PSV became the first Dutch club to qualify for the last-16 in nine years after pipping Manchester United to second spot in Group B, following their 2-1 win over CSKA Moscow in Eindhoven and United's 3-2 defeat at Wolfsburg.
As group runners-up, PSV could face the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich in the next round and Dutch defender Brenet favours the current holders, joking that PSV will have no problem coping with Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar.
"Every club is beautiful, but I'm a big fan of Barcelona. It would be great to draw them. Whether it is this round, the next one or the final: Messi, Suarez and Neymar, we'll eat them alive," he told reporters after the match.
Barca's front three boast 43 goals between them so far this season, with the club currently top of Champions League Group E, and also leading La Liga, having taken 34 points from 14 games.
